Ingredients
- 400 grams shrimp
- 0.5 cup lime juice
- 2 pieces serrano peppers
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 0.5 piece onion
- 1 piece cucumber
- 1 piece avocado
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 0.5 teaspoon peppers
Instructions
- 1Thoroughly clean the shrimp, removing shells and deveining.
- 2In a blender, combine lime juice, cilantro leaves, garlic, serrano peppers (adjust to taste), sea salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
- 3Place the shrimp in a non-metallic bowl and pour the blended sauce over them. Ensure all shrimp are well-coated.
- 4Cover and refrigerate the shrimp for 20 minutes to marinate. The acid from the lime juice will 'cook' the shrimp.
- 5While the shrimp marinate, thinly slice the red onion and cucumber.
- 6Remove shrimp from the refrigerator after marination. They should be pink and opaque.
- 7In a serving dish, arrange the shrimp and pour over any remaining marinade.
- 8Top with sliced red onion, cucumber, and cilantro leaves.
- 9Drizzle olive oil over the dish and gently mix.
- 10Slice the avocado and arrange on top of the shrimp.
- 11Serve immediately with additional lime wedges on the side.
