- 8 oz brie cheese
- 6 figs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 0.25 cup walnuts
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp peppers
- 0.25 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2Slice the fresh figs into quarters.
- 3In a small bowl, mix walnuts with chopped thyme, rosemary, a pinch of sea salt, and black pepper.
- 4Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5Arrange the fig slices and walnut mixture around and on top of the Brie.
- 6Drizzle the Brie and figs with extra virgin olive oil.
- 7Bake in the preheated oven until the Brie is melted and gooey, about 15-20 minutes.
- 8Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with raw honey.
- 9Garnish with additional fresh thyme and rosemary.
- 10Serve warm with slices of whole grain baguette or crackers.
