- 1 pound beef
- 4 pieces Wheat Pita Bread
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 0.5 cup cucumber
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 whole lemon
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 small red onion
- 1 large tomatoes
- 0.25 cup mint
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1Cut the lean beef into 1-inch cubes and marinate with olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- 2While the beef marinates, prepare the tzatziki by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped mint in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
