Ingredients
- 8 oz fish
- 4 cups, shredded bok choy
- 0.5 cup, chopped white onion
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 0.25 cup shredded mozzarella
- 0.5 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.125 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 0.5 teaspoon Thyme
- 0.25 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons light olive oil
Instructions
- 1Lightly sauté the shredded bok choy in light olive oil over medium heat until slightly softened but still crisp-tender. Season with a pinch of salt and white pepper. Set aside and keep warm.
- 2In a large skillet, melt unsalted butter with a drizzle of light olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped white onion and sauté until translucent.
- 3Add granulated garlic and cook until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 4Add the bite-sized fish pieces to the skillet with the garlic and onion. Sauté until cooked through and opaque, stirring occasionally.
- 5Pour in white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Allow the wine to reduce slightly, creating a light sauce.
- 6Add the sautéed bok choy to the skillet with the fish. Toss gently to combine, ensuring the bok choy is coated in the garlic wine sauce.
- 7Stir in parsley flakes and Thyme.
- 8Serve immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella (optional).
