  • 1 medium white onion
  • 2 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 1 medium orange bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 8 ounces egg vermicelli

Instructions

  1. 1Cook the egg vermicelli according to package directions.
  2. 2Finely dice the white onion.
  3. 3In a large pan or pot, heat the light olive oil over medium heat.
  4. 4Add the diced onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5Add the garlic powder and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  6. 6Add diced green and orange bell peppers to the pan. Cook until slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
