Ingredients
- 4 pieces wheat pita bread
- 2 medium zucchini
- 200 grams halloumi cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 handful basil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- 2Slice the zucchini into thin rounds and cut the halloumi into thin slices.
- 3Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 4Brush each whole wheat pita with a light layer of olive oil.
- 5Arrange the zucchini slices and cherry tomatoes evenly on top of each pita.
- 6Add the halloumi slices on top of the vegetables.
- 7Sprinkle dried oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper over the pizzas.
- 8Place the prepared pitas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cheese is golden.
- 9While the pizzas are baking, chop the fresh basil leaves.
- 10Once baked, remove from the oven and immediately garnish with fresh basil.
- 11Serve warm, cut into quarters for easy sharing as an appetizer.
