- 100 grams oats
- 6 whole figs
- 30 grams walnuts
- 250 ml almond milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 15 grams chia seeds
- 15 grams flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- 1Gather all ingredients.
- 2In a medium saucepan, bring almond milk to a low boil.
- 3Add oats and salt to the saucepan, reduce heat to low.
- 4Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until oats are soft.
- 5While oats are cooking, chop the figs into quarters and crush the walnuts into smaller pieces.
- 6Stir in the cinnamon, chia seeds, flaxseed, and vanilla extract into the oatmeal.
- 7Remove from heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
