Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 0.3125 cup rice flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 2 tbsp dry milk

Instructions

  1. 1Combine ground turkey with 1/4 cup rice flour, garlic powder, 1 tbsp parsley flakes, 1 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp minced chives. Form into small, uniform meatballs.
  2. 2Heat Canola Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. 3In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter and sauté the minced shallot until softened. Whisk in 1 tbsp rice flour, then gradually add Bone Broth, dry milk, whipping cream, softened cream cheese, and plain nonfat yogurt, stirring until smooth. Stir in remaining parsley flakes, chopped chives, and remaining salt.
  4. 4Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
  5. 5Return the browned meatballs to the skillet, coating them in the sauce.
  6. 6Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. 7Serve hot.
