Ingredients
- 0.5 cup tequila
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo
- 1 tbsp Adobo Sauce
- 0.25 cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- 0.25 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp garlic-infused oil
- 0.25 cup yellow onion
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 0.5 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp lime rind
Instructions
- 1Combine Tequila, chipotle peppers in adobo with their sauce, lime juice, agave nectar, extra virgin olive oil, Garlic-Infused Oil, yellow onion, ground cumin, Oregano, smoked paprika, kosher salt, white pepper, Fresh Ginger, orange juice, and Lime Rind in a blender or food processor.
- 2Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
- 3Taste the marinade and adjust seasoning if desired.
- 4Use immediately to marinate plant-based protein or vegetables, allowing at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld, or up to 4 hours refrigerated for deeper infusion.
